The Metcalfe

The Metcalfe is tucked in amongst the trees behind our drive shed, facing the north-east corner of Irvineside Farm, looking out over the neighbouring farm fields. It features a deck with 2 Muskoka chairs, to relax and enjoy the view of the countryside. The Metcalfe features two twin beds, (easily converted to a king) with Canadian-made Douglas mattresses, for a night of comfort under the stars. Fresh linens and pillows are included. The Metcalfe is approximately 190 ft from the washroom trailer. Its closest tent neighbour is The Geddes (approx. 10 ft west). Booking a group? Select the Geddes and/or the Wellington and have your friends and family nearby! RATES: $165/night (DBL) week nights $195/night (DBL) Friday and Saturday Extend your stay a second night and receive $20 off when you book directly with us. Discount is applied at time of booking.

AMENITIES

Washrooms

Don't rough it! Our large washroom trailer features 4 full washrooms, with hot-water showers (with great water pressure), and a vanity sink. Clean. Private. Comfortable. Remember to pack your own toiletries and towels.

Parking

Parking is available on site. Please note: you will be asked to move your car to parking on the laneway, after you've unloaded. There is no parking next to your tent.

Bonfire

We have 2 communal bonfire pits on the property. We provide the fire wood and get the fire started for you. All you need to do is pack marshmallows. Note: portable bonfire units are not allowed.

BBQ

We have three communal barbecues for guests to use and a sink with potable water for washing up, plus a few picnic areas to enjoy your meal. There is also a fridge in the barn for your leftovers. Got your own camping cookstove? Bring it!
